We present an analytical study on the effects of transverse plasma gradient in blowout regime a wakefield accelerator. The analysis departs from simple ballistic model electrons and allows us to derive complete analytic solution for pseudopotential and, consequently, wakefield. demonstrate that modifies bubble shape affects wakefield; namely, dipole results component Analysis suggests that, despite asymmetry, instability due fixed is unlikely, as total has single stable point inside bubble. only effect occurs shift electromagnetic center. out random fluctuation could become issue.
